Health & Safety.
As a member, it is your responsibility to ensure that your details are up to date, including the PAR-Q Health Questionnaire which you are obliged to fill out before commencing your first class. This will be provided at the studio.
At #NoFilter Fitness we provide a variety of Fitness Classes that cover a wide range of styles. This includes but not limited to High Impact, High Intensity, Resistance Training, Cardiovascular Exercises and Stretching. We will do our very best to provide accurate class descriptions, but it is your responsibility to ensure that you are in good health, have no recurring injuries and in certain cases, have been cleared by your Doctor to participate in physical activity. At any time staff at #NoFilter Fitness can refuse your participation in class in your best interests of health and safety. If you withhold medical information that can have a significant impact on your health in relation to exercise, you will not be refunded if this information comes to light after a membership purchase.
#NoFilter Fitness will not compensate you for loss, damage or personal injury where no negligence on our part can be proven.
All members are required to manage their own accounts, including: Joining on-line and filling in correctly all the required details, such as name, valid and current email address, residential address & phone number. It is strongly recommended to opt-in to auto-emails on your member account so that you receive notifications about bookings, especially if you gain a place after being on the waiting list. We will not refund credit payments to member accounts who have removed their contact details and have chosen to not be alerted to their bookings, and subsequently missed their class. It is the members responsibility to be aware of and manage their bookings and adhere to our Booking and Cancellation Policy.
If you have a Rolling Monthly Membership (subscription) and are changing banks or if your card is due to expire, you must update your card details on your account immediately (either via the app or studio reception). If this does not occur, we shall suspend your account and you are no longer able to book or attend classes until the new details are stored. A €10 late fee will apply if the member fails to provide a valid credit card or debit card information within 7 calendar days of the original rejection date. The membership will be deactivated if the monthly account payment becomes more than 30 calendar days late and #NoFilter Fitness will take further steps, including (but not limited to) legal action to claim the fees due as per the Contract Agreement terms.
If you make a payment using someone else’s bank account or credit/debit card, please ensure that you have their permission to do so.
Membership Cancellations. You have the right to cancel your auto/ contract membership with 30 Days notice. This can be done so by contacting the studio in writing (official email or postal letter only). Please note that as of 1/12/16 membership cancellations will not be prorated to 30 Days and if you choose to cancel mid contract you will be biilled for the full cycle on your renewal date. If you do not wish to be billed you must provide minimum 28 days notice BEFORE your current membership expires.
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, providing they have not used our facilities or late cancelled/failed to turn up to a class, members have the right to apply to cancel their purchase within 14 days of their purchase (the cooling off period).
Our memberships and credits run on a strict “use it or lose it” policy. Please do not ask for unpaid credit or extensions as refusal can often offend. From time to time we may offer extensions in Good Faith under extenuating circumstances, once proof in writing has been provided by the member. If you benefit from a discounted promotional membership and subsequently cancel, should you wish to rejoin, the current membership rate will apply and previous discounts or offers will be null and void.
LATECOMERS #NoFilter Fitness reserves the right to refuse entry to any members who turn up late to class and misses the warm-up. This is for members’ health & safety, to respect other members who have arrived on time and not disrupt the flow of the class. Members must stay for the full duration of the class so that they are safely cooled-down at the end. If a member is unwell or needs to leave early, they must speak to a member of the #NoFilter Fitness team who will advise on next steps, and record the member leaving early from class. Members are expected to wear appropriate clothing for working out in classes, especially the correct footwear (trainers or sports shoes). The #NoFilter Fitness team have the discretionary power to ask members wearing inappropriate clothing or footwear to leave the class.
The safety and well being of all clients and staff is number one priority at #NoFilter Fitness. We will not tolerate any behaviour which deems aggressive, inappropriate, violent or emotionally or verbally abusive towards staff or other members. If a member behaves in this manner they will be asked to vacate the premises immediately, their membership will be terminated and they will not be reimbursed for membership.
To Book a Class
When logged into your member account, click “schedule” and select the classes you want to book onto.
You will not be able to place any bookings unless a purchase has been made or credit applied to your account. If classes are full we do operate a waiting list. If you book yourself onto the waiting list, a notification will be sent to your email if a space becomes available. Members can also pay for classes/ memberships in cash, however this must be done in advance of any bookings. We cannot hold unpaid spaces for classes.
To Cancel a Class
To cancel a class from your account click “reservations” or find your booking under the “schedule” and simply click remove to cancel your booking. You will be prompted by a pop up window to confirm the cancellation.
We operate a strict cancellation policy as classes are very popular. You must cancel your booking on your online account no later than 4 hours before the scheduled start time or you will lose your payment or be charged a fine. Please respect this and have consideration for other members so they can book into your space. We understand that things pop up in every day life that can suddenly change your plans, but please cancel your space as soon as you know if you cannot make it. We do not accept cancellations over the phone, via text or email as these may not be picked up in time.
Note that there is a nightly “blackout” window between 9pm and 6am where members will not be able to cancel any sessions.
Please note that we do not offer refunds (other than the cooling off period on memberships) that if you cancel a booking, the value of the booking will be credited back to your account to use within 7 days of the cancellation or the expiry date of the purchase, whichever comes first.
Cancel More Than 4 Hours Before a Class:
No problem! For those of you on class credits then your payment shall be credited back to your account to use for a future booking within 7 days.
Cancel Less than 4 Hours Before a Class: (Memberships & Class Packs)
You will receive a strike on your account. Three strikes will result in you being unable to book onto future classes and there will be a €5 charge to lift the ban when you contact the studio. You will be permitted to “drop in” to any class if there is a space available. Strikes will be automatically cleared on an account every 2 months. This is solely to prevent members from persistently holding spaces and not using them.
Cancel Less Than 4 Hours Before a Class: (Credits)
Payment will not be credited back to your account and you will forfeit the credit.
Personal Training sessions operate under a 24 hour Booking and Cancellation Policy. You will not be permitted to book a session less than 24 hours in advance (unless otherwise agreed), if you cancel less then 24 hours before your session you will not be credited.
If you have any problems with cancelling your booked classes on your online account, please contact the studio ASAP.
To ensure a satisfactory experience for all members, some classes are subject to minimum bookings to allow for late cancellations or no shows. Bookings can dip during quiet periods. All bookings are checked at 9pm the evening before morning sessions and at 9am the day of evening sessions. Where numbers are low, members will be notified via our online Facebook group and encouraged to book. If bookings remain low the class maybe changed to suit the number of participants. If only one person is booked the class will be canceled however the member will receive plenty of notice to rearrange to another class.
Waiting Lists We operate waiting lists for all classes on our timetable if the class if full. If a space becomes available, #NoFilter will send an automatic notification via email update to inform you that you have been booked. Please note that the 4hr cancellation policy also applies to the waiting list, so if you receive a space in class less than 4hrs before the class start time and fail to turn up then you will be charged. If you know before the 4hr cut-off that you can no longer make it, please remove yourself from the waiting list to avoid gaining a space and being subsequently charged.
30 Day Results Guarantee We offer a “no results – full refund” guarantee for all new members within their first 30 Days of membership. Provided that you, the member has followed our guidelines to achieve your goals, be it from recommended classes, services and/ or nutrition guidelines and you do not see any results within 30 Days we will honour the 30 Day Guarantee. Results are usually recorded via measurements and fitness testing. If you are having difficulties reaching your goals, please do contact the studio and we will be more than happy to provide further assistance.
All bookings for classes or PT sessions must be paid in advance, either via the app, website or in person. Please note that if you do not wish to use the free online booking service, you may be charged an additional admin fee if you request the studio to manage your bookings for you. We can create accounts, book classes and take payments for you at reception, but please know that it’s much easier (and cheaper) for you to go online, especially during busy periods.
From time to time #NoFilter will film and photograph active classes and sessions for promotional purposes. These may be published on our website, on our app and social media outlets. By participating in class, you automatically give us permission to include you in filming and photography. If however you do not want to be featured on our promotional material, you must inform us in writing in advance of attending a class.
All content on our website www.nofilter.ie is subject to copyright. While we encourage you to share our blog posts, updates, news posts, podcasts, videos and pictures, you may not do so without crediting content to #NoFilter Fitness.
We reserve the right to refuse your account or payment, or terminate if you breach our terms and conditions.
Opening hours, access, and the timetable are subject to change. There are usually a reduction of classes on the timetable during school breaks and holidays. Classes usually wind down for the year during the second week of December, subject to demand. We do not open on Bank Holidays.
Abuse of membership – for example, repeated non-attendance to booked classes, deliberate damage to or misuse of equipment, physical or verbal abuse of #NoFilter Fitness staff, and conduct that is commercially detrimental to #NoFilter Fitness, will result in the immediate termination of membership. No refunds will be given, and any outstanding fees, repair costs and legal fees will be charged to the offending member. #NoFilter Fitness reminds you that they police and enforce their rights vigorously to the maximum extent available under the law.
Your Information. Please note that the contact information you provide will be used by #NoFilter Fitness in order to communicate news and upcoming promotions with you. We do not sell your contact details to other parties, and your details are kept secure on our database. Your card details are managed and secured by Stripe, #NoFilter Fitness does not have any access to member’s card details other than the last 4 digits. Should you make a card payment in person, #NoFilter Fitness immediately destroys such information for security purposes.
